With heavy heart we offer our deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Mable Annette Sanders. I had known Mrs. Annette since childhood at Pentecostal COC, years later I would develop a special relationship with her at UAFC, working in the Nutrition Ministry and Silver Eagles. We spent a lot of time talking on the phone, in summer, sitting on her porch. When we missed a few weeks of talking, we'd make up for it with two hour conversations. I will miss our talks, "inside jokes", funny and uplifting stories about the good ole days. She taught me a lot about life , church, kids and cooking. We found out we had a whole lot in common despite our age difference. Mrs Ann never hesitated in telling me when I was wrong as I learned to appreciate and respect her opinion. When I was sick with Cancer, even with her own health issues, she never failed to call my husband every couple of days to check on me and him. I loved her and she loved me. We knew it without saying. My family loved her as well. One thing I know for sure: Sis Annette loved the Lord and worshipped Him in Spirit and in Truth! She loved her children, grandchildren and her family. I want to thank Bobby, Angie, Mark , Edward, and Amber for sharing your beautiful , wise, remarkable and amazing mom with me. Rest well my friend, save a seat on the front porch for me. We will meet again. Much Love and Prayers, Kenny and Connie Starkey
