Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Marion Catherine Henry, 64, of Beckley, died Sunday, December 20, 2015.

Born December 29, 1950 in Mullens, WV she was the daughter of Elder Bernice Wilson- Graves of Mabscott and the late Mose Wilson.

Mrs. Henry was employed at Raleigh General Hospital.

In addition to her father and step-father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Henry, Jr.; twin daughters, 2 brothers, and father-in-law.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her son, Mikel (Karen) Henry of Ohio; special son, Marcus Millner of North Carolina; daughters, Andrea (Kevin Simmons) Henry and Tina Henry, both of Beckley; special daughter, Gloria Oglesby of North Carolina; step-children, Joshua and Meiyetta Henry of Ohio; brother, William Wilson of Mabscott; sisters, Beverly (Randy) Robertson of Mabscott, and Norma Jean Robertson of West Wickham; mother-in-law, Martha Henry; aunts, Betty Ann Bethel and Ethelene Henry; 9 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Heart of God Ministries, 1703 S. Kanawha Street, Beckley with Bishop Fred T. Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
