Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Patricia Diane "Cooney" Gray Beasley, 66, of Mt. Hope, WV died Monday, December 23, 2019.

Born May 7, 1953, in Mount Hope, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Louise Gray.

Mrs. Beasley graduated from Mount Hope High School. She was married on April 6, 1969 to Sherman Beasley. Sherman and Patricia were married for over 50 years. She was a faithful member of Faith Temple of Deliverance for 30 plus years, having served on the Hospitality Board, Kitchen Committee and she loved to decorate the church, until her health declined.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Richard, William, Robert, Freddie, Eugene, John and Lee Phillip Gray and one sister, Linda Merritt.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her husband of 50 years, Sherman and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Faith Temple Of Deliverance 119 Deegans St. Beckley with Bishop Bobby Tunstalle officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
