Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Rose Marion Stevens French, 68, of Beckley, died Thursday, May 3, 2018.

Born September 5, 1949 in Wycoma, WV, she was the daughter of Catherine Stevens of Beckley and the late Robert Stevens.

She was a graduate of Stratton High School and Charleston Barber College and was a US Army Veteran and employed by Payne's Barber Shop.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Drema E. Stevens Madera.

Left to cherish precious memories, in addition to her mother, are sons, Keith Stevens of Daniels, Sean and Timothy Stevens, both of Beckley and Twyman Hunt of Canton, OH; brother, Ronald Stevens and sister, Shirley Hassler, both of Beckley and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Service will be 12:00PM Monday, May 14, 2018 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 142 Mool Ave., Beckley with Rev. Nelson Staples officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
