Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

WELCH - Mrs. Sandra Faye Parker, 68, of Northfork, WV died Sunday, October 22, 2017.

Born July 21, 1949 in Meade, WV, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Beatrice Brown Austin.

Sandra graduated from Stoco High School in 1967 and worked at Welch Emergency Hospital. She was a former member of Miracle Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Kimball and current member of Living Waters Apostolic Church, where she was ordained as a minister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Austin.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her husband, Lonnie; children, Lonnie Parker Jr., Earl Parker, Eric Parker and Angela Parker-Sullivan; brothers, Nathaniel Austin, Clifford Austin, Robert (Thomasa) Austin, Jerome (Benita) Austin, and Larry (Mary) Austin; sisters, Laverne Smith, Katherine Austin, Linda McDowell, and Patricia Keller; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Free & Independent Holiness Church, 106 7th St., Beckley, with Elder Bonita Mitchell, Pastor Yvonne Law, and Bishop Ernest Stewart officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
