Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Teresa Eloise Dews, 80, of Beckley, WV, died Sunday, October 8, 2017.

Born March 26, 1937 in Harper, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Lee and Ruth South Pennix.

She was a homemaker and member of Apostolic Lighthouse Deliverance Temple, under the leadership of the late Apostle David Daniels Jr. and now under the leadership of Bishop James Jones Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Dews; grandsons, Roland H. Frazier and Carl Lamont Saunders Sr.; granddaughter, Buena LaTasha Dews; great-grandson, Bishop Carter Lawson and great-granddaughter, Tinequa Subrina Saunders.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her daughters, Juquita (Robert) Frazier of Beckley, Buena (Rubin) Marshall of Tampa, FL, Teresa Ann (Roy) Dalton of Martinsville, VA, Angella Dews-Rhodes (Charles) of Beckley and Subrina (Orlando) Potter of Beckley; brother, Walter (Peggy) Pone of Greensboro, NC; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00PM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Living Waters Apostolic Tabernacle, 112 Mool Avenue, Beckley, with Elder David Leo Moor officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
