Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Ms. Annie Lea Jefferson, 85, of Fayetteville, WV died Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

Born February 28, 1934 in Birmingham, AL, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie Jefferson.

Ms. Jefferson was a member of First Baptist Church Harlem Heights and was a graduate of The Cook County School of Medicine and was trained and certified in the Histologic Technique.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James and Alfonso Jefferson; sisters, Edna Casey, Wilma Thompson, Doris Steed and Ruby Jefferson.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her sisters, Thelma McCluney of Charlotte, NC, Imogene Jefferson-Dingle (Edmond Dingle) of Monckscorner, SC, Glenda Talmone (Gary Talmone) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Harlem Heights, 416 Broadway Ave., Oak Hill, with Revs. Paul Baker and Charles Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Haven Memorial Park, Ingram Branch.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
