Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Ms. Carolyn A. Crawl 65, of Woodbridge VA, formerly of Harvey, WV, Toledo, OH and Huntsville, Al died Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

Born March 19, 1951, Harvey, WV, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Crawl, Helen Higginbotham Crawl George and William George Sr.

Carolyn worked as a CNP for VA Systems at Belvoir Community Hospital and was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Huntsville, AL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James Crawl, Claude Crawl, Lee Roy George, and Robert George Sr. and sister, Mary George.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her son, David Jerome (Justine) Crawl-Carlisle; daughters, Trina LeLita Crawl, and Joelette Charice (Robert) Crawl-Bembry; grandsons, Toree DeShawn Gambrell, Mehki Kohl Weatherly, Maori Keikorra Weatherly, Trae Carlisle; great grand-daughter, Jalia Aniyah Gambrell; brothers, Larry Eugene (Krista) Crawl and William (Luevenia) George Jr.; sisters, Barbara Edmonds and Vanessa Woodson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 PM Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Ritchie & Johnson Funeral Parlor.

Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 315 Winchester Rd. NE, Huntsville AL 35811 with O Wendell Davis officiating.

Friends may call 6 to 8 PM Friday, February 3, 2017 and one hour prior to the service at the church.
