Chanel Desire Clark, 32, of Beckley, WV passed September 17, 2022 at her home after a short illness .

Chanel was born July 11, 1990 to Gregory and Grace Clark of Beckley WV.

Chanel spent her time working and volunteering with many community outreach organizations. She also worked as a call center representative for 911 in Wadley, GA, along with her own personal graphic design business.

Chanel always said her greatest job was being a mother to her daughter, London.

Chanel enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, attending church, laughing, singing and helping others. She found the Lord early in her childhood.

Chanel is preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Ann Robertson; grandfather, James Andrew Robertson and uncle, Avitt Robertson.

Chanel, in addition to parents, is survived by her daughter, London Elizabeth Jackson; life-partner, Christopher Bailey: brother Wynton Clark; five sisters, Jasmine Nicoli, Shantelle Robertson, Candice Clark, and Desenee Copeland, all of Beckley, WV and Brittanity Robertson of Charlotte, NC; nephews, Jermain Bationo, Bryce Hyman, Traysouan Robertson, and Shakia Robertson; nieces, Indyia Scott, Italy Butler, Malaysia Clark; brothers-in-law, Mark Nicoli and Bryan Farmer; sister-in-law, Vontresquia Copeland; best-friend Charles Carrington; special aunt, Kimberly Robertson Grimes, and a host of family and close friends .

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Saturday, October 1, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church 304 Worley Road, Beckley with Rev. Eugene Nabors officiating.

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may view and visit with the family one hour prior to the funeral service.
