Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Ms. Chante Jamese Shivers, 21, of Beckley, died Saturday, January 30, 2016.

Born June 17, 1994 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of Kimberly Michelle Shivers of Summerville, SC., and the late Sean Christopher Shivers.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Isaiah Shivers and maternal great-grandmother, Maggie Mallory.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her son, Darien Miguel "Poody" Blaney, Jr. of Beckley, WV; brother, Dezmahn Shivers of Summerville, SC; maternal grandparents, Sherman (Pamela) Ross of Beckley, WV; paternal grandparents, Herman and Geraldine Shivers; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 at Heart of God Ministries, 1703 S. Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV with Bishop Bob Tunstalle and Bishop Fred T. Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
