Cynthia was the mother to one son, La’Ron W. Allen. La’Ron was her baby boy and the love of her life.

Cynthia was retired from AIG after 30 years of service as their Finance Officer.

Cynthia was a great cook and avid baker. She baked cakes for the Lester Fire Dept. Bingo night. Everyone loved her cakes there. She would bake cakes just to bake them and then make everyone come eat it. If you didn’t like it she’d say “That’s okay, I don’t like everything I make either!” She loved to cook and try new recipes or receipts as she liked to call them. She cooked Sunday dinner every Sunday for her beloved brothers.

Cynthia LOVED her family. She had a unique and special relationship with each of her siblings. She enjoyed having them all together for special gatherings or just to be together for no reason but just because. She had a special relationship with her oldest brother Richard or “Buck” as she affectionately called him. Cynthia had a special love for her aunts, Edith “Sang” Allen & Joyce Tucker. whom she talked to quite often.

Cynthia was a loving grandmother to Maliyah Ann, who she loved very dearly.

Cynthia, in addition to her parents, was preceded by her grandparents, Theodore B. & Ruth E. Allen.

Cynthia leaves to cherish precious memories her son, LaRon W. Allen of Lester; granddaughter, Maliyah Ann Allen of Beckley; brothers, Richard “Glen” Allen, Michael Allen and Kenneth “Sam” Allen (Dawn), all of Lester and Ronald “Fella” Allen (Lisa) of Beckley; sister, Evg. Oct 23 2021 at 2:27pm Sorry for your loss. I remember Cynthia from Trap Hill High School. I just found out about her passing from a classmate of mine. I was in the Class of 1970. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you. May God bless and help you thru this. I hadn't seen her since school, but she was always nice. It made my heart feel good that she was close to her family. That's a special thing. From, Dorothy (Young) Bowman.

I can remember when we were kids in Lester, we had so much fun and Cynthia Ann was at the center of much of it! I will miss her bubbly personality, her hard work that she devoted to our Lester reunions and her kind heart. May you, the Allen family, find comfort in the words of the prophecy found in Revelation 21:3,4 where we are told that God ...."will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Not only will God rid the earth of death, but so will emotional pain be gone along with all suffering. My prayer is that meditating on this scripture will soothe your pain. May Jehovah bless you and comfort. Sharon (Sissy) Turner Williamson Columbus, Ohio
