Obituary For Ms. Dianna Sabrina Morris

Our beloved, Dianna Sabrina Morris, left this world bound for her Heavenly rest on Sunday morning, April 28, 2019.

She was born in Newark, NJ on Sept. 15,1969, the youngest daughter of Leon and Daisel Morris.

Dianna recieved her GED, after which she studied and received her Certification as a Drug Counselor in the State of NY.

Dianna was the proud mother of 3 children. Her children became the joy and pride of her life.

As a Counselor, she was loved and appreciated by many for her strength and encouragement through difficult times in their lives. In our family she was always the one who kept everyone laughing.

Dianna moved to Beckley in May of 2013 and soon became employed by ResCare, where she was an In-home Caregiver. She worked in this position and maintained a good rapport with her co-workers as well as her supervisors. In 2016, she moved to Virginia with her youngest son, Isaiah, and began working again as a Caregiver for a private company and later became a State Employee in this field. She held this position until she was called "Home".

Dianna recognized and acknowledged GOD'S hand and favor in her life as HE bought her through so many challenging situations. She praised and thanked HIM daily for HIS many blessings. She became a member of Welcome Baptist Church and remained an inactive member.

Dianna was preceded in death by her father, Leon Morris; mother, Daisel Morris; sister, Daisy Lee Smith; brothers, Donald and Ronald Outerbridge, grandmother, Lucinda Jones; nephews, Leonard (BJ) West Sr. and Dan Hall and recently her uncle, Jasper Jones.

Those left behind to cherish and love her are her children, Micheal Ray Morris, Gyessikah Marie Morris and Isaiah Seyquan Morris; sisters, Lynn Morris, Emma Parker, Gail Outerbridge, Rosa Marie Headen, Anna Morris-Smith and Rosalind Fluker; brothers, Corinthian (Carolyn) Outerbridge, Jessie Outerbridge, Willie R. Michelle Ponder Sr. and Louis Ray Morris and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Funeral service will be 3:00PM Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Welcome Baptist Church 206 Eighth St. Beckley with Bishop David Allen officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
