Obituary For Ms. Drema Charlene Green Allen

Ms. Drema Charlene Green Allen, 66, died Saturday morning at her home in Beckley, WV after fighting a long battle with bone cancer.

Drema was born on the October 8, 1956 in Lester to Mary Green of Beckley and the late Varnell Green.

Drema received her license in childcare on June 13, 2000 and ran a successful daycare center from her home for 17 years while raising her own. In 2001, she was also a FEMA Crisis Counseling model for those who suffered from the loss of their homes. She continued to extend a helping hand to whomever she saw in need while delivering encouraging words to steer them on the right path.

Drema was fulfilled by being around her grandchildren, traveling and collecting wine glasses from each state she traveled to.

Drema, in addition to her mother, is survived by her sisters, Tammy (Elton), Carolyn (Randy), and Karen (James); brothers, Tyrone, Mike, David (Cathy), and Jim (Charlotte); children, Shae (Henry), Janae, Jeremy and Eric; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As per her request, she has been cremated.

Memorial service will be 1:00PM Friday, November 11, 2022 at Heart of God Ministries 1703 S. Kanawha St. Beckley with Bishop Fred T. Simms officiating.
