Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Ms. Eva Mae Harris, 91, of Beckley, formerly of Amigo and Rhodell, died Thursday, February 16, 2017.

Born December 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late George and Mammie Simpson Harris.

Ms. Harris was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eugene Johnson; brother, William Harris and sisters, Elsie Hale and Odessa Ford.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Left to cherish precious memories are her daughter, Shirley Harris Alexander of Beckley; two grandchildren, Gwen and Bill Alexander; three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Service will be 1:30pm, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Rhodell Church of God, 7287 Coal City Road, Rhodell, with Revs. Gary Eskins and Calvin Moore, Jr. officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
