Ms. Evelyn Jordan, 52, of Beckley, died Thursday, September 20, 2018.

Born September 9, 1966 in Beckley, she was the daughter of William and Mary Nickelson Jordan.

She worked as a housekeeper at Quality Inn and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Maurice Antwan Jordan; grandparents, Evelyn Irene Douglas, John W. (Anniebelle) Jordan, James (Mary) Mills and John Henry (Ethel) Jordan and aunts, Bertha Russell and Darlene Bradley.

Left to cherish precious memories are her mother, Mary (David) of Beckley; brothers, William “Kent” (Tiffany) Jordan of Appleton, WI; sisters, Audrey (Rodney) Thomas of Beckley; Marquita Jordan (Lamont) of Beckley, Kenita (Eric) Persinger of Roanoke, VA, Nolita (Wasia) Dixon of Washington, DC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00PM Friday, September 28, 2018 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 142 Mool Ave. Beckley, with Rev. Nelson Staples III officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
