Ms. Joann Steelman, 74, of Beckley, died Sunday, September 15, 2019.

Born March 26, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Mae Moore Steelman.

A retired daycare provider, she was a member of Outreach for Christ Christian Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Latasha Steelman; brothers, Robert and Eddie Steelman and granddaughter, Jael Steelman Watts.

Left to cherish precious memories are her son, Kenneth Steelman of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Quindora Steelman of Beckley; special daughter, Angelique Steelman of Beckley; brothers, Rev. Thomas L. (Jean) Steelman of Mt. Hope and Richard C. “Dickie” Steelman of Beckley; sisters, Rose M. Cobb of Jacksonville, FL and Mary E. (Clement) Harbour of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Kenneth E. Steelman Jr. of MD; Kadaja M. Steelman, Jarah Steelman and Kniyell Steelman, all of WV; Octavia A. Steelman of NC; Deandre Steelman, Caleb Steelman and Tyris Steelman, all of FL; special granddaughter, A`Zaeya Manns; special sister-in-law, Cynthia Steelman; long-time friend, Nikki Booker and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Outreach for Christ Christian Center, 416 “G” Street, Beckley, with Rev. Thomas L. Steelman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.
