Obituary For Ms. Latesh Chantel Morris

Ms. Latesh Chantel Morris, 35 of Beckley, WV gained her wings on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Latesh was born September 16, 1987 in Beckley, WV to Linda D. Morris of Beckley, WV.

Latesh was a 2006 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School.

Latesh was very strong, loving and energetic. She loved her nieces and nephews, Kaniyah and Audrianna Morris, Brionna Blackmon, Alijah Waters, Kinazyah Morris, Denair Morris, Navaeh Webster and Christian Morris.

Latesh loved arts, crafts and getting the neighborhood kids together to play games.

Latesh was preceded in death by grandparents, Ernest “Chink” and Pauline Morris; uncles, Lonnie Patterson, Ernest “June” and Terry Morris; and aunt, Shirley Dorsey.

Latesh, in addition to her beloved mother, leaves to cherish precious memories her brothers, David and Eric Morris; sister, Tausha Morris; special brothers, William, Thomas and DerQuan Manns; special sisters, Ivory Shepherd and Rhoneka (Malik) Medley and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00PM Friday, March 10, 2023 at Heart of God Ministries 1703 S. Kanawha St. Beckley with Bishop Keith Hill and Bishop Fred T. Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may view and visit with the family thirty minutes prior.
