Obituary For Ms. Linda Mack

Mrs. Linda Mack, 70, of Oak Hill, WV, peacefully went to be with her Savior on Sunday, February 15, 2026. The first of eight children, she was born on September 3, 1955 in Beckley, WV to the late Emma Lou Thomas.

Linda graduated from Collins High School in 1974 and attended Fayette County Vo-Tech, receiving a certification in Secretarial Science. She was a longtime employee of The Lively’s.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful, founding member of Faith Tabernacle Outreach Ministries, where she became an ordained minister on February 20, 1995.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother and played a special role in helping raise her beloved grandson, Desmond, who called her "Nanny".

She loved to sing and was an excellent cook. She loved to entertain and always had something funny to say. She loved her family and her home became the hub for family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Lou Thomas; nephew, Stevie Watts; sister, Oretha "Big Bit" Korhone; brother, Phil "Bo" Thomas, and sister-in-law, Tina Thomas.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dennis Mack; children, Jerome Mack of Charleston, WV, Thaddeus Mack (Leslie) of Oak Hill, WV, and Sasha Carty (Ralston) of Gastonia; grandchildren, Desmond Mack and Lane Eades, both of Oak Hill, WV, and Allison Kincaid (Parker) of Beckley, WV; siblings, Bobby Thomas (Jessica) and Kevin Thomas, both of Charleston, WV, Aletha "Lil Bit" Thomas of Mt. Hope, WV, Eric Thomas of Cleveland, OH, and Shirley Thomas-Bizjak (John) of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-law, Bessie Thomas of Oak Hill, WV; aunts, Brenda Thomas of Oak Hill, WV, and Ann Mitchell of Jacksonville, FL; uncle, Earnest Thomas of Akron, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Sunday February 22, 2026 at Faith Tabernacle Ministries 135 S. Court St. Fayetteville.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.

Friends may view and visit with the family one-hour prior.
