Obituary For Ms. Linda Sue Aldridge (Cadle)
Linda Sue Aldridge (Cadle), lifelong resident of Raleigh County, passed peacefully into eternity on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley.
Born April 18, 1948 in Beckley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John E. Lynch and Sudie (Ransom) Lynch of Glen Morgan, West Virginia.
Linda attended Shady Spring High School and did not graduate with her class. She was very proud of the fact that she worked diligently later in life to obtain her GED.
Preceding Linda in death are beloved brothers, John E. (Hump) Lynch of Chicago, IL , Robert Lynch of Blue Jay, WV. and an infant brother, Ross Newman Lynch.
She is survived by her siblings, Mary Meador of Brunswick, OH, Patricia Hodge of Blue Jay, WV, Mabel Mizia of Daniels, WV, Jane Baker, Chicago, IL, Frank Lynch of Chicago, IL, and Clyde Lynch of Glen Morgan, WV and a host of nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.
Linda was blessed with the love of three children. Carma (Gil) Cochran of Bolt, WV, Debra (John) DeJulius of Mount Hope, WV and Danny Ray Cadle, Jr of Glen Daniel, WV; five amazing granddaughters, who enjoyed spending time around the table, drinking coffee and eating homemade poundcake with their beloved “Maw Maw Linda”. They are Madison Walker of Beckley, WV, Lindsay (Anthony) Bartram of Columbus, OH, Jaclyn Morgan of Hot Springs, AR, Kaitlin (Andrew) Watts of Six Mile, SC and Gillian (Walker) Tolliver of Bolt, WV; two great-grandchildren, Judah Mack Morgan and Joselyn Kylee Morgan, both of Hot Springs, AR.
Linda loved her Pomeranians, Max and Reese, as well as gardening and cooking. She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Gospel Chapel on C&O Dam Road in Daniels, WV. She was a lifelong member of Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist church.
Special thanks to her caregivers at Pine Lodge Center as well as Hilltop Center for the skilled nursing care Linda received the past two years. Our family is eternally grateful for Bowers Hospice House and the opportunity to spend the last days of her life with her at her bedside.
A private service will be held at a later date for Linda, but her memory will be cherished for the rest of our lives.
