Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Ms. Loretta Jean Morris, 69, of Beckley, died Monday, December 5, 2016.

Born November 6, 1947 in Lillybrook, WV, she was the daughter of the late Sammie and Minnie Hall.

Mrs. Morris was employed by Appalachian Regional Hospital and Raleigh General Hospital and was a member of United Apostolic Faith Church, Beckley, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmie Hall, Eugene Hall and Sammie Hall Jr. and sisters, Fannie Simon and Delores Ross.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her sons, James Morris Jr. of South Carolina and Marco Morris of Beckley, WV; granddaughter, Chanel Cooper of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Rashad Morris of Beckley, WV; brothers, Willie Hall of Columbus, OH, John Hall and Miller Hall, both of Beckley, WV and Clinton Hall of Kannapolis, NC; sister, Everlene Stockton of Beckley, WV; ex-husband, James Morris Sr. of Beckley, WV and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2016 at United Apostolic Faith Church, 1010 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV with District Elder Timothy Scofield officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
