Obituary For Ms. Mari Dashay Gosnell

Mari Dashay Gosnell, 31, entered into eternal life Sunday, February 16, 2020.

Mari was born November 28, 1988 in Beckley, WV. She was the third of five children born to the late Dana E. Wilson-White.

Mari, in addition to her mother, was also preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Ed and Mary Wilson; grandfather, Samuel Wilson; grandmother, Mary Lewis and best friend, Carter Wicks.

Mari gave her life to the Lord at an early age. She was brought up in Central Baptist Church and was a graduate of Woodrow-Wilson High School. She lived her life the best way she could and was a great mom, sister, aunt, and friend.

Mari leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Elanna Brown and father, Michael “Tony” Gosnell, both of Beckley, WV; sisters, Krysten Moore, Brittani White and Samaya White, all of Beckley, WV; brother, Michael Gosnell II of Chattanooga, TN; grandparents, Martin and Brenda Hawkins of Columbus, OH; aunts, Rosalyn Hagwood and Tracey Jones, both of Columbus, OH; uncles, Neil (Amy) Lewis of Mt Hope WV, Jackie Painter of Charleston, WV, James Howard of NC and Franklin Brydie of KY; step-father, Samuel White; godmother, Shelia Brown; special aunt/friend Mary Wicks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial service will be 12:00 noon Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Central Baptist Church, 197 Brooks Street Beckley.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
