Mrs. Mary Frances Jones Taylor, 78, of Mt. Hope, WV passed Friday, April 11, 2025

Born September 5, 1946 in Carlisle, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Inez Minnis Jones.

She was a marketing specialist with the Department of Agriculture

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother/mama, Ilene Jackson; great grandmother, Ethel Jackson; uncle, Ritney Jones; brothers, Jesse Jones Jr. and Harold Nacomas Jones.

Left to cherish precious memories are her husband, George Franklin Taylor of District Heights, MD; children, Richard E. Lewis of Clinton, MD, Anthony J. Taylor of District Heights, MD, La Tracey Gaskins of Fort Washington, MD, and Delicia A. Taylor of Alexandria, VA; siblings, Charlene Saunders Leftwich (Howard), Joretta Thompson, Jacqueline Penn, and Carol Jones, all of Oak Hill, WV; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family directed memorial service will be 11:00AM Monday, May 5, 2025 at Union Bethel A.M.E. Church 6810 Floral Park Road, Brandywine, MD 20613
