Obituary For Ms. Patricia Canada

On Sunday, March 19, 2023, the Lord called His child, Patricia, home to Heaven, where there will be no more suffering and fears.

Patricia Elizabeth Canada was born November 20, 1951, in The Beckley Hospital, to Hazel Clark Canada Brown of Beckley and the late William Henry Canada.

Patricia was baptized at an early age under the pastorate of the late Pastor David Powell and actively attended Sunday school.

Patricia was a former Usher at St. Paul Baptist Temple and also a member of New Hope Baptist Church before becoming ill.

Patricia received her early education at local elementary Schools in Beckley and was a Job Corp graduate.

Patricia was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and one niece, Karla Johnson.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories her mother and four siblings, William Canada Jr. (Joie) of North Dakota, Dalyce Brooks (James) of Chester, VA, Faye Canada, of Orlando, Florida, Janice Malvoisin (Marcel) of Jersey City, NJ; nephew, Kris Hoyle of Washington DC and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00PM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Ritchie & Johnson Funeral Parlor chapel 748 S. Fayette St. Beckley with Rev. Gregory Claytor and Rev. Walter M. Leach officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may view and visit with the family one hour prior.

    Trish was such a beautiful person that I have known for a long time. I really missed seeing her when I go to visit my brother. She thought so much of my son when he was living.
