Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Rev. Peter ôPeteö Easley, 51, of St. Albans, WV died Tuesday, January 26, 2016.

Born May 18, 1964, in Brooklyn NY, he was the son of Carol Ann Easley Robertson of Baltimore, MD and raised by his loving grandmother, Virtie Easley of Raleigh, WV.

Rev. Easley was employed at various jobs throughout his lifetime and was a member of Church of Deliverance, North Charleston, WV, The New Gospel Singaleers of Beckley, WV. and was a 1983 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Joseph L. Robertson; son, Jeremy Jermaine Easley Lewis; and mother-in-law, Mattie Saunders.

In addition to his mother and grandmother, those left to cherish precious memories are his devoted wife, Mary ôPeachesö Easley of St. Albans, WV; daughter, Brittany Ann (Dwayne) Easley of Beckley; son, Ezra Robertson of St Albans, WV; brother, Paul Easley of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Plicia D. Robertson and Angela ôShermaineö Elmore, both of Baltimore, MD; 6 grandchildren; 1 niece, India Ariel Easley; 1 nephew, Joseph Patrick Easley, both of Baltimore, MD; 3 God-children; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 142 Mool Avenue, Beckley, with Reverend Jerry Staples and Reverend Nelson E. Staples III officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, to offset funeral expenses, the family request donations be made to the Ritchie & Johnson Funeral Parlor, Beckley, WV.
